XC Skiing in the White Mountains, North Conway

JacksonXCcoveredbridge Some of the world’s best cross-country trails and scenery is in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. There are nearly 1000km of tracked and skate-groomed trails for beginners to experts with endless back country skiing for the hardcore. In North Conway Village, Mount Washington Valley Ski Touring has the best trails in the North Conway area and span from North Conway Village to and throughout to Intervale, NH, up by the New England Inn and run along the beautiful and scenic Saco River with magnificent views of the Moat Mountains and Mt. Washington. There’s a trail in the North Conway Village side of the XC system that has, what we feel to be, one of the top 10 views in the world.
Here’s a hint; when skiing up hill, do NOT turn around til you get to THE top.
